Circulation Aide

Shift: Morning and Weekend Shift

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Description: This position is responsible for welcoming patrons into the library and assisting them in all things related to getting and using a library card and library resources. In addition to these and other standard circulation duties, this position also supervises other part-time circulation staff and is responsible for all procedures at the Circulation Desk on weekends, including opening and closing, contributing to monthly reports, handling patron complaints, and overseeing emergency situations. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred), interpersonal skills, conflict resolution skills, computer skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, two non-family references (professional preferred).
