MONDAY | April 29

Pokémon Club with Plus Ultra

For all ages to bring their Pokémon cards and trade, play games and do raids. Hosted by Plus Ultra Coffee from 3-5 p.m. in the library cafe.

“Your Child’s Library” 

An information session for library parents to meet each other and learn about the resources the library has for families at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Includes light snacks and giveaways.  

Monday Night Live

Stories, family challenges, on-location interviews, crafts and more at 7 p.m. on Facebook Live.

 

TUESDAY | April 30

Preschool Story Time

For ages 3-5 with crafts, music and stories at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room.

Visit with Thistle and Bunji

For all ages to foster a connection with nature outside in the Exploration Garden with Thistle the rabbit and Bunji the bearded dragon Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 p.m. During inclement weather, this program will be inside in the Meadows. 

Teen Gaming

Ages 13-17 drop-in gaming from 5-8 p.m. in the Community Room with Nintendo Switch, Wii and XBox games, plus a basket full of board games. E-rated multiplayer games allowed. Email teenzone@clevelandlibrary.org with questions.

 

WEDNESDAY | May 1

Building in the Meadows

All-day build with Legos, blocks and other engineering toys for ages 6-12 in the Meadows, our creative space in the Children’s Library.

Library Miniaturists Club

Making and decorating miniatures from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the History Branch with supplies and snacks provided by the library.

Plus Ultra Chess Wednesdays

For all ages to learn basic chess skills from the Plus Ultra baristas and challenge each other in gaming sessions. Hosted by Plus Ultra Coffee from 3-5 p.m. in the library cafe and from 5-7 p.m. in their mall location.

 

THURSDAY | May 2

Baby Bookworms

Story time with songs and toys for enhancing fine motor skills for ages 3 and under at 10:30 a.m. in the Community Room.

Teen Anime Club

Ages 13-17 anime and Japanese snacks at 5 p.m. in the Teen Zone. Email teenzone@clevelandlibrary.org with questions.

Library Crochet Circle

Ages 18 and up crocheting for beginners and advanced from 5-7 p.m. in the Community Room. Hooks and yarn provided, or bring your own works-in-progress.

 

FRIDAY | May 3

Mother’s Day Teatime Reservation Deadline

Last day to reserve a spot for the library’s annual Mother’s Day Tea. A $5 cash deposit is required per family and will be refunded upon attendance at the event on May 11. 

Story Time in the Garden

For ages 3-6 with activities and stories outside in the Exploration Garden at 10:30 a.m. Weather permitting.
